WSSMA's relationship with AAMA
The AAMA is a "tri-level" organization connected to the individual state societies and also to the county chapters. When one becomes a member of the AAMA, membership is also provided to their state society and the chapter of their choice, usually the chapter where they reside.
WSSMA adheres to the Bylaws and Standing Rules of the AAMA and is committed to promoting the professional identity and stature of its members and Certified Medical Assistants through education and credentialing. WSSMA meets these goals through its chapter activities, quarterly Board of Trustees meetings, annual state conventions and annual Leadership Retreats.
