Officers :: Secretary

The term for office of WSSMA Secretary is for two years and may be re-elected. Elections for Secretary are held in the even years.

Please check WSSMA Bylaws and Standing Rules for full details. The following is a brief description of the role and duties of the office of Secretary.

Description of duties

  • Shall have the responsibility of recording the minutes of all regular and special meetings of WSSMA, including the House of Delegates.
  • Shall provide each member of the Board of Trustees, committee chairmen and advisors with a copy of the minutes no later than 20 days following adjourment.
  • Prepare a roll call list before each Board of Trustees meeting.
  • Maintain current mailing list.
  • Collect materials for historical preservation.
  • Display scrapbooks/albums for member viewing.
  • Submit quarterly reports to the Board of Trustees and distribute 5 copies to elected officers and Statline chairman.
