The Speaker of the House has most of their responsibilities occur just before and during the annual HOD at the WSSMA Annual Conference in May each year.
The responsibilities include conducting the HOD sessions, selecting Tellers, credentialing all delegates/alternate delegates (with the Vice Speaker), conducting Reference committee appointments for Budget and Finance and Bylaws, and appointing the HOD Minutes Review Committee.
The Speaker of the House also complies yearly reports to present to the HOD. Those that are required to submit yearly reports are all WSSMA Officers, WSSMA Committee Chairs, Chapter Presidents and Delegates/Alternate Delegates to National Convention.
ALL ANNUAL REPORTS ARE DUE TO NO LATER THAN MARCH 1ST. YOU CAN MAIL THEM TO THE SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE OR EMAIL THEM TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS LISTED BELOW.
Chapter Delegate/Alternate Delegate Verification forms must be completed and returned no later than April 15, 2010. You can email delegate/alternate delegate verification to: Shelley Gingrich CMA (AAMA) at shelley.gingrich@wssma.org.
