The term for office of WSSMA Vice President is for one year and may only be for one consecutive term.
Please check WSSMA Bylaws and Standing Rules Committee for full details. The following is a brief description of the role and duties of the office of Vice President.
The WSSMA Vice President:
Will assist the President throughout the year
Will assume the duties of the President in the President's absence
Will become President if a vacancy occurs
Will become President the next year
Will be the chair of the Bylaws Committee
Will make selections for the Standing Committee Chairs before the annual meeting in May each year and present the selected people to the BOT for approval
Will serve as Delegate to the AAMA HOD
will be the second liaison to the Washington State Medical Association
